The Christmas Market Expands to Rue de la Madeleine
In Rue de la Madeleine, traders from Galerie Bortier, neighboring shop windows, and Ukrainian associations occupy Winter Wonders chalets to offer a wide range of products.
Galerie Bortier, an emblematic architectural jewel recently meticulously renovated and known as the “Galerie des Bouquinistes,” is now enriched with a cultural and gastronomic offering that combines the authenticity of the past with contemporary expectations. Over three weekends, the gallery hosts the Creators Factory, in collaboration with hub.brussels, an authentic market of “material transformers” where ethics and sustainability are undeniably key values.

A Wishing Christmas Tree on the Grand Place
The Christmas tree shines in the spirit of solidarity thanks to a partnership with Make-A-Wish Belgium, an organization that fulfills the dreams of seriously ill children.
Decorated with 300 red baubles and 180 Côte d’Or elephant ornaments, it also features decorations signed by Belgian personalities, which will be auctioned to benefit the association. The inaugural lighting on November 29 at 6 PM will reveal a unique light show, with RGB LEDs creating sparkling effects and warm tones for a magical and hopeful Christmas tree.
