Winter Vox is back every weekend with six professional or amateur ensembles performing recitals — three on Saturdays and three on Sundays — with the focus on Christmas carols, gospel, hymns as well as the latest pop hits.
Melting Vox is a Belgian a cappella vocal ensemble comprising some fifteen highly experienced male and female amateur singers specializing in classical music from the 20th and 21st centuries.
Since its foundation in 2008, Melting Vox has been passionate about discovery and strives to popularize stunning choral works by staging concerts in both Belgium and abroad, and by
releasing several CDs. Its repertoire is stuffed with real treasures,
with pieces by Duruflé, Rachmaninoff, Whitacre, Gjeilo, Schnittker,
McMillan, Kodaly and many more.
Under the expert direction of its British conductor Toby Wardman, this small
group of enthusiastic singers delivers hugely sophisticated performances, seeking the most elaborate interpretations with the best possible balance between the potential of different voices and the
composers’ intentions.
Melting Vox invites you to discover the wonders of the
contemporary classical repertoire together!
